Carrying forward the Customer-First philosophy, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) recently announced its foray into the CNG segment. With this customers will now have more options for Urban Cruiser Hyryder model line-up. Toyota has confirmed that the bookings for E-CNG trims of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder is now open. Customers can visit any of the Toyota dealerships in India to book their interest. Prices are not yet now, TKM said they will announce the prices for E-CNG trims of Urban Cruiser Hyryder shortly.
What Is The Urban Cruiser Hyryder CNG?
The first of its kind in the segment, the Urban Cruiser Hyryder is now available with a factory-fitted CNG kit in both S & G grades. Equipped with a Manual Transmission (MT) powertrain for both the trims, the CNG variant will be in addition to the Self-charging Strong Hybrid Electric as well as the Neo Drive variants. These are already available in the market and have received an overwhelming response from customers.
TKM Expands Its Target Audience
The introduction of CNG will further help TKM to enhance its range of sustainable vehicle technology offerings. In fact, TKM will also have more eco-friendly and economical options for customers to choose from. Furthermore, Toyota will now appeal to a wider range of audience thus catering to a varied range of mobility needs of Indian consumers.
Mechanical And Interior Highlights
The new CNG variant available in the Urban Cruiser Hyryder gets a 1.5-liter K-series engine with 5 Speed Manual Transmission. TKM claims a mileage of 26.1 KM/KG with the Urban Cruiser Hyryder. And of course, this is ARAI certified tested under ideal conditions. Thus in real-life driving conditions, achieving the above figure is no easy task.
On the exterior, the Urban Cruiser Hyryder gets LED Project Headlamp, Twin LED Daytime running lamp neatly integrated with a Wide Trapezoidal Lower Grille. The SUV rides on Sleek and Dynamic R17 Alloy wheels. Similarly, the interiors of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder also look quite attractive, crafted to perfectly suit the bespoke experience offered by Toyota.
