Toyota sold 12,835 cars in January 2023, 175% growth

Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) recently released its sales report for January 2023. The carmaker posted a total sales of 12,835 units for the given period. This translates to a significant increase of 175 per cent over the same month last year. For your reference, the company sold 7,328 units in January 2022.

Furthermore, the sales in the current month also represent a market growth of 23 per cent over the preceding period of December 2022. In this period the company sold 10,421 units. For the month of January 2023, TKM opened the bookings for the popular Toyota Hilux and the Toyota Innova Crysta. In addition to this, the prices of the CNG variants of the Urban Cruiser Hyryder were also revealed.

The Calendar Year 2022 was quite positive for Toyota Kirloskar Motor. With the company clocking its highest wholesale in the last decade. Everyone in Toyota is now very excited and optimistic about the future. Given the strong month-on-month growth of 175, Toyota is expecting high customer demand to gain further momentum this year. Thus, TKM is taking all major steps to prepare well and meet the diverse needs of the customers. The company has also started off with the deliveries of the Innova Hycross. Then, the newly launched Urban Cruiser Hyryder too continues to witness healthy demand in the market.
