The Fortuner GR-S will be available only in the 4×4 AT trim. The ex-showroom price for the GR-S is INR 48.43 lakh. The price increase also makes it the most expensive Fortuner variant to be sold in India. The GR-S costs INR 3.8 lakhs more than the previous top-end variant, Legender 4×4. The Fortuner GR-S is available in two colour options – White Pearl Crystal and Attitude Black.

2022 Toyota Fortuner GR-S – What’s New?

The Fortuner GR-S gets different styling to differentiate from the other variants in the lineup. These include a new front grille, all-black alloy wheels and different designs for the bumpers. The rear bumper also gets a blacked-out diffuser. New body-coloured wheel-arch cladding also replaces the black one from other variants. In addition to this, it gets GR badges on the fenders, grille and boot lid. Another sporty touch is the red brake calipers which also sport the GR badging. What remains the same are the quad-LED headlights and LED fog lights. The company says it also gets a revised suspension, tuned by Gazoo Racing.

The GR-S gets an all-black interior theme with contrasting red stitching on the inside. The steering wheel and the engine start-stop button also get GR badging on them. The instrument cluster gets a sporty theme and GR graphics for the MID. The sportier aluminium pedals complete the look. Other standard features include a JBL sound system, 8.0-inch infotainment display, wireless charger and a powered tailgate.
