Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has launched the Fortuner LEADER EDITION today. This launch is a celebration of the success of the Toyota Fortuner. The Fortuner LEADER EDITION brings a distinctive design with many add-on features, building upon the features it already had.
Fortuner LEADER EDITION: Key Highlights
One of the key highlights of the Fortuner LEADER EDITION is its prominent dual-tone exterior, available in a palette of ‘black, white, and clarity’. It features a dynamic front and rear bumper spoiler that makes it stand out from the regular Fortuner. The interior boasts dual-tone seats and plush upholstery.
In addition to its perfect styling, the LEADER EDITION is equipped with an array of advanced features designed to enhance convenience, safety, and connectivity. These include a wireless charger, a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and auto-folding mirrors.
The vehicle also comes with bold and rugged black alloy wheels. Certain accessories developed by TTIPL (Toyota Tsusho India Pvt. Ltd.) will be installed by authorized dealers, including rear and front bumper spoilers.
Powertrain
In terms of the powertrain, there are no changes for the LEADER EDITION. It gets the 2.8 L Diesel Engine with 6-Speed Automatic and 6-Speed Manual Transmission. The Automatic Transmission provides a whopping 500 Nm Torque and powerful performance with 204 PS, while Manual Transmission variant comes with 420 Nm Torque and 204 PS. It will be available only in the 4X2 drivetrain. It won’t be offered in petrol either.
Bookings for the Fortuner LEADER EDITION are now open. Customers can either book the Fortuner LEADER EDITION online at the official Toyota India website or visit their nearest Toyota dealership.
