Written by AnantaSaranNayak

TotalEnergies Marketing India Private Limited (TEMIPL), which is a subsidiary of TotalEnergies, has launched a new EV Fluid range in India. This is specifically for electric and hybrid cars and electric motorcycles. The new product range named Quartz EV Fluid is for cars. Meanwhile Hi-Perf EV Fluid is for the motorcycle.

Total Brings In Two New Products

Total mentioned they have been developed specifically for drivetrain reducers, e-motors, e-transmissions, and batteries in electric and hybrid vehicles. Thus, these custom EV fluids enhance the electrical properties against short circuits and static electricity. Furthermore, they also offer excellent compatibility with copper coils and new polymer materials used in electric vehicles. Total says these fluids get excellent anti-wear properties and high thermal resistance with ultra-low viscosity. This property helps in the protection of gears and bearings and maintains optimal temperature control with efficient cooling.

These TotalEnergies’ EV fluids are the result of extensive research and development investment and commitment. In fact, Total has been partnering with car manufacturers around the world as well as using Formula E races as a test environment for their EV fluids. All of these help improve vehicle performance, extend autonomy and increase their lifespan.

Increase In Demand For EVs In India

India currently is boosting EV adoption across the country with much focus on sustainable and clean mobility solutions. As a result, the Indian electric vehicle market will grow exponentially in the next five years. With the launch of these ranges of EV fluids in India, Total brings its global experience and technical expertise to the Indian market. Their products have been specially developed to meet cooling, insulating, and lubrication needs. This is for all types of electric and hybrid vehicles and ensures that they remain in peak condition throughout their lifetime. TotalEnergies has been a trusted lubricants partner of car manufacturers globally. And the company aims to deliver technical, customer-oriented solutions and sustainable performance for the Indian market as well.
