This is the 2020 Ducati Multistrada 1260 S Grand Tour

Now available with a touring package, Ducati has announced the 2020 Multistrada 1260 S Grand Tour. This bike will be revealed in flesh at the EICMA show in Milan next month and is expected to arrive in Indian showrooms by mid-2020. As the name suggests, this is a touring model based on the Multistrada 1260 S.

Changes on the 2020 Ducati Multistrada 1260 S Grand Tour include new LED fog lamps, new front windscreen which is slightly taller for better touring, new side pannier bags, heated handlebar grips, tyre pressure monitoring system, centre stand and new softer seats for both the pillion and rider. This 2020 Ducati Multistrada 1260 S Grand Tour will be sold in a single metallic silver + black paint option with the chassis painted in red.

Powering the Ducati Multistrada 1260 S Grand Tour is the same 1262cc, Testastretta DVT petrol motor which produces 153 BHP of peak power and 129 Nm of peak torque matched to a 6-speed gearbox. The bike gets traction control, cornering ABS, quickshifter up / down, wheelie control, hill hold, cruise control, etc. Other equipment on the Multistrada 1260 S Grand Tour will include the Ducati Skyhook Suspension, backlit switch gear for easy access, colour TFT instrument console, full LED headlamp, LED tail lamp, self cancelling turn indicators, and other optional accessories.

Right now, in the Indian market, Ducati has a total of 5 Multistrada models on sale which include the 950, 1260, 1260 S, 1260 Pikes Peak and 1260 Enduro. This Multistrada 1260 S Grand Tour will be the 6th model on offer in the adventure tourer segment from Ducati.

The Ducati Multistrada range rivals the likes of Triumph Tiger, Kawasaki Versys and MV Agustra Turismo Veloce.
