We’ve heard about a lot of introductions to the headgear and inside the helmet, but this is something new. 6D Helmets have now introduced a new lid which will come with a suspension system to better protect your head.
This new helmet comes with a patented ODS (Omni-Directional Suspension) setup inside the helmet. This is a suspended multi-layered kinetic elastomeric isolation damper. This damping system works in reducing the impact energy which would be transferred to your brain. With an hourglass shape, the progressive spring rate manages the acceleration felt. The helmet reduces the transfer of angular & linear acceleration forces to the brain. Better safety for high & low impacts, impact magnitude is reduced due to the lag created by the suspension system.
The 6D ATS-1 helmet is available in 4 colour options.
The 6D ATS-1 comes with a comfort liner which is washable. The helmet also features speaker pockets, pinlock insert which is included in the package and a helmet bag.
