The Xtreme Sports from Hero MotoCorp’s stable will be their last product launch for the calendar year 2014. The bike was first revealed at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo and was recently caught shooting for a TV commercial hinting that the launch is just around the corner.

  1. Pricing to be expected to start at Rs. 70,300 for the single disc brake variant (ex-showroom Pune)
  2. Front & rear disc brake variant to cost Rs. 73,650 (ex-showroom Pune)
  3. More powerful than the regular Hero Xtreme
  4. 149cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled, petrol motor producing 15.2 BHP of power @ 8,500 RPM and 12.80 Nm of torque @ 6,500 RPM
  5. LED pilot lamps
  6. Split seats
  7. Body decals
  8. Digital + analogue speedometer
  9. Telescopic front suspension & 5-step adjustable rear suspension
  10. 240mm front disc brake and 220mm rear disc brake
  11. LED tail lamp

  15. 5 bi-spoke alloy wheels

The Hero Xtreme Sports will fight against the Suzuki Gixxer, Yamaha FZ V2.0 & Honda CB Trigger. Hero has a couple of more offerings in the 150cc category such as the Hero Xtreme, Hero Hunk which can also cannibalise on the Xtreme Sports sales due to a cheaper price tag.
