Fern Hotels and Resorts has partnered with Magenta to enable EV charging solutions across its properties. As of now, three of the properties located in Lonavala, Karad and Bengaluru have already installed the Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (EVCS). Fern Hotels and Resorts are one of the fastest-growing hotel chains in India and want to keep up with recent trends. Given the demand for electric vehicles in the country, hotels are introducing a host of e-mobility facilities. As per this initiative, Magenta has put on a target to install, operate and manage DC fast chargers at over 84 Fern Hotels and Resorts, spread across 69 locations in India.

How To Use These Charging Facilities?

Magenta’s charging solutions are mobile application enabled (OCCP based) that come with numerous customer-friendly features. Using the ChargeGrid application, customers can locate their nearest charger. The ChargeGrid app also gets the feature of an integrated payment gateway for seamless online transactions. This is a significant step to encourage customers to bring in their electric vehicles for trips. Charging facilities at hotels will help to mitigate range anxiety, thus boosting the sale of electric vehicles in the country.

Magenta Plans For The Future

Being India’s one of the top emerging EV solutions companies, Magenta has big aspirations. Under the tagline of ‘Made in India, Made for India’, the company designs and deploys Electric Vehicle Charging solutions across the country. Magenta Mobility (EVET) deploys electric vehicle-enabled transport solutions for people and cargo movement. Currently, the company has more than 4,000 EV chargers under its network.

The company claims that it has now started off with the manufacturing of multiple low-cost, innovative, high-quality AC charging solutions. The company’s in house manufactured chargers have served a host of electric vehicles that are on sale in India currently. The list includes the likes of Hyundai Kona, Tata Nexon, Tata Tigor, Mahindra e-Verito and more. With the demand growing stronger in the future, Magenta aims to leverage this and grow as a company.
