Tata has announced the launch of AMT version in two more trim variants of the Tigor – XMA and XZA+. This move will make the AMT car available for a wider range of customers. The AMT XMA variant is priced at INR 6.39 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi and the AMT XZA+ variant is priced at INR 7.24 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi.
Both the variants feature a Harman tuned music system with Bluetooth connectivity, 24 intelligently designed storage spaces, foldable rear armrest with cupholders, etc. The XZA+which is the top-spec AMT variant of the XZ+, offers a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto integration, an 8-speaker sound system by Harman and driving modes. The new model also comes with fully automatic temperature control (FATC) with uniform cooling in the cabin area and a 4 bar mechanism for a wide and clear opening, 419-litre boot space. The exterior of the XZA+ features 15-inch diamond cut alloy wheels and auto fold ORVMs with integrated LED turn signal lamps and dual chamber projector headlamps with chrome inserts.
The XMA and the XZA+ trim are offered with a 1.2-litre Revotron petrol 3-cylinder engine that produces 85 PS of power and 114 Nm of torque. The AMT models also feature an anti-stall and crawl functions in stop and go traffic also helps the car from stalling, in case of sudden braking.
In terms of safety, both the Tigor trim variants offer dual airbags, ABS with EBD, corner stability control (CSC), reverse parking sensors, speed dependant automatic door locking mechanism and engine immobiliser.
The colours available on the Tigor XMA and XZA+ are as follows:-

- Roman Silver
- Espresso Brown
- Berry Red
- Pearlescent White
- Titanium Grey
The Tata Tigor also has a fully electric variant on offer, for sale to the Government of India officials and has also made its way to fleet car operators, such as Aaron Travels in Mumbai. It is being speculated that the Tigor EV will soon be open for sale to private individuals and is expected to be launched with a price tag of INR 13 lakh ex-showroom.
The Tigor EV is expected to be powered by a three-phase, permanent magnet, induction motor with 16.2kWh, lithium-ion battery with a liquid cooling system. It may have an estimated torque output of 90 Nm and is likely to have a range of about 130 km on a single charge. It is also expected to charge up to 80 % from 0 in 60 mins and do speeds of up to 100 kmph.
