Tata Motors’s Tiago.ev, is the newest entrant in its EV family. The electric hatchback has received an electrifying response from the market. The company confirmed that it has surged past the 10,000 mark since bookings opened at 12 noon, on 10th October 2022. This proves the empathic response Tiago.ev got from the customers and market alike.
Tata Motors Extends Tiago.ev’s Introductory Pricing
Inspired increase in demand for EVs along with the mass adoption of EVs, Tata Motors has extended the special introductory pricing. The Tiago.ev starts from INR 8.49 Lakh (All India – Ex-showroom) to an additional 10,000 customers. Given the overwhelming response to the Tiago.ev, Tata Motors decided to take this step. The company even thanked the customers for embarking on the EV journey. Thus with the introductory price open for 10,000 customers more, Tiago.ev will attract a range of audiences in the coming days.
Booking And Delivery Timeline
Tata Motors confirmed the process regarding the bookings for the electric hatchback. Customers can pay a token amount of INR 21,000, at any authorized Tata Motors dealership. In addition to this, customers can also avail of online booking options accessible via Tata Motors’ official website. Tata Motors will start to display the Tiago.ev at leading malls across major cities in October 2022. Customers can avail of test drives starting from late December 2022, onwards.
Furthermore, the delivery timeline as confirmed by Tata for the Tiago.ev will commence from January 2023 onwards. Moreover, Tata Motors mentioned that the time, date, variant, and color of the vehicle chosen, shall determine the delivery date. Production of 24kWh battery pack variants is on priority based on customer insights. Thus Tata Motors expects the 24kWh battery variant to sell in big numbers.
With Tiago in, Tata Motors is increasingly expanding its EV lineup. All in all, now customers have an option to choose from an EV in the hatchback, sedan, and SUV segments. This comes in the form of Tiago.ev, Tigor EV, and Nexon EV respectively
