New Tata Sierra Design
Unlike the original three-door Sierra, the new version will be a five-door SUV. This change caters to family-oriented buyers and aligns with modern market demands. The leaked images showcase a boxy design with a commanding stance. The front fascia features a wide grille, trapezoidal LED headlamps, and a full-width LED DRL strip. The side profile includes squared wheel arches, flush door handles, and a floating roof effect achieved through blacked-out pillars.
Interior features
The interior is expected to be tech-laden, with a floating triple-screen setup. This includes a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system. Other features likely include a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, and a premium sound system. Safety will be a priority, with Level-2 ADAS, multiple airbags, and a 360-degree camera.
Tata Sierra expected powertrain options
The Tata Sierra will offer multiple powertrain options. The ICE variants are expected to include a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine and a 2.0-litre diesel engine. Both engines are likely to deliver 170 PS of power, with torque figures of 280 Nm and 350 Nm, respectively. Transmission options will include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. The EV version could borrow its powertrain from the upcoming Harrier EV, offering a range of over 500 km on a single charge.
