We have visuals from the upcoming Tata Safari facelift SUV. This was recently spotted testing in Bangalore. The images of the heavily camouflaged version of the Tata Safari test mule are now out. Upon close scrutiny, it seems likely that the upcoming facelifted version of the Tata Safari SUV will feature plenty of design changes. We could get to see different-looking vertically stacked headlights and a reprofiled front bumper. We could get to see a more upright front section as well as updated rear bumpers and more.
Features To Make Way In The Safari
In addition to that Tata Safari facelift will also benefit from a slew of new features. The most talked about change is a redesigned dashboard. Along with this, other interior design elements changes will make the SUV look more premium and contemporary. Noteworthy to mention, that the side profile of the test mule remains largely identical
More Sensors In The Upcoming Safari
Another closer look at the test mule makes us believe that the vehicle now comes equipped with a new sensor. This sits just behind the windshield and the IRVM. We can take a guess that this new sensor could become a part of the ADAS tech in the upcoming Tata Safari facelift. Furthermore, we expect Tata Motors to make the ADAS tech in the upcoming facelifted version of the Tata Safari SUV, a lot more sophisticated.
Engine And Powertrain Options
Talking of the powertrain options, the upcoming Tata Safari facelift could feature a new engine. This is the 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine. The performance figures read as 168 BHP of peak power and 280 Nm of peak torque. This is the same 1.5L Turbo Petrol engine which we saw at the Auto Expo 2023. The diesel 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder, turbocharged unit will continue to power the SUV. But, we do expect the power and torque figures to jump by a slight margin.
