2022 Tata Safari Adventure Persona: Technical Specs & Features
Powering the Safari’s Adventure Persona Edition is the same 2.0-litre, four-cylinder, turbo-diesel motor with 170 PS and 350 Nm. It also sends its power to the rear wheels via the same 6-speed manual or the Hyundai-sourced, 6-speed torque converter gearbox. The SUV uses the OMEGARC architecture derived from Land Rover’s D8 platform, which scored a 5-star safety rating at Global NCAP. However, Tata Motors has now equipped the Safari’s Adventure Persona Edition with exclusive technological and convenience features for its occupants.
The new features include ventilated seats on the 1st and 2nd row along with Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Additionally, the Safari Adventure Persona Edition also gets an in-built Air Purifier, a Wireless Charger, and iRA Connected Car Technology. The SUV continues to sport the 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with an Air Quality Index (AQI) monitor for convenience. Other features of the Safari Adventure Persona Edition include the 9-speaker JBL sound system, panoramic sunroof, and rain-sensing wipers.
Recently, enthusiasts spotted Tata Motors testing the supposed petrol version of the Safari outside its Pune plant with no camouflage. Multiple sources and reports stated previously that the automaker has been working on an all-new 1.5-litre, turbocharged petrol motor. It is quite likely that Tata Motors will first introduce this engine into its flagship SUVs- the Harrier and Safari.
