The Tata Azura has been revealed at the 2023 Auto Expo. The Azura T.19 has been designed to offer high performance in fuel efficiency and deliver a low total cost of ownership.

Equipped with a state of the art cabin, the truck gets a new front fascia, updated exterior and futuristic interiors. The dashboard has been designed ergonomically while the powertrain consists of a NGE 3.3-litre engine that delivers 160 HP.
The truck is equipped with an optimised drivetrain to give an enhanced total cost of ownership to the operator. There is a multimode fuel efficiency adaptation through Gear Shift Advisor (GSA). For driver comfort, the Azura T.19 comes with a tilt and telescopic steering. The steering wheel is made up of shock-resistant soft touch steering wheel and comes with steering wheel mounted buttons. In terms of seating, the truck comes with a foldable twin accommodation for the co-driver seat and suspended seat.
The new-generation dashboard is offered with enhanced utility spaces (with dual glove box). A Next-gen TFT instrument cluster helps the driver with all the relevant information while an all new 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android connectivity takes care of the entertainment duties.Projected headlamps with LED DRLs and integrated cornering lamps are standard.

The truck comes with an anti-fuel theft feature as well as maintenance-free rubber bush at front and rear suspension with improved durability. It has a dual power mode along with best-in-class engine oil change intervals and air less injection for enhanced fuel efficiency. Tata is also offering Driver monitoring system (DMS), Tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), Rear park assist with camera and Hill Start Assist (H.S.A) on this truck.
Powertrain of the Tata Azura T.19
The Tata 3.3-litre NGE -160HP BS6 Phase II engine is rated at a peak power of 160 HP @ 2,400 rpm and max torque 475 Nm @ 1,400-2,000 rpm. There is a 5+1 gearbox paired with the engine. The top speed is restricted at 80 km/h while the maximum gradeability is 25.8 percent.
