Tata Punch, Nexon, Harrier & Safari Kaziranga Edition – Pictures & Videos

Tata Motors recently announced the Kaziranga editions of the Tata Punch, Nexon, Harrier and Safari models. Now we bring you the detailed walk around of the Kaziranga edition Punch, Nexon, Harrier and Safari. The new Kaziranga editions pay homage to India’s rich geographical and biological diversity and are based on the top-spec versions of the four SUVs. The Tata Punch, Nexon, Harrier and Safari models will retail from Tata’s official dealerships across the Indian market.

The Kaziranga editions features unique updates such as an exclusive ‘Grassland Beige’ exterior colour. The cars also comes with Satin Black Rhino Mascot on the front fender. This is matched with a Piano Black, dual-tone roof. On the inside, the Kaziranga edition also features ‘Earthy Beige’ leatherette upholstery, a tropical wood dashboard, and ‘Earthy Beige’ inserts. On the front and rear headrests, the Kaziranga edition models also come with embossed outlined torso of two rhinoceroses facing each other.

Punch Kaziranga Edition

The Tata Punch Kaziranga Edition comes with a price tag of INR 8,38,900 ex-showroom. The top-spec Punch Kaziranga with IRA and AMT gearbox goes up to around INR 9,48,900 ex-showroom. The Punch Kaziranga edition comes with four variants – Creative MT, Creative MT-iRA, Creative AMT, and Creative AMT-iRA.

Powering the Punch Kaziranga is the same 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine. The engine produces 86 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque. The SUV also comes with styling details such as a Piano Black Humanity Line front grille, Granite Black roof rails, and 16-inch Jet Black Alloy wheels. Tata also plans to auction the Punch Kaziranga Edition for IPL fans, donating the proceeds to Kaziranga’s Wildlife Conservation.

Nexon Kaziranga Edition

The Tata Nexon Kaziranga edition comes with a starting price tag of INR 11,78,900 ex-showroom. The diesel manual version comes with a sticker price of INR 13,08,900 ex-showroom. The Automatic petrol model is priced INR 12,43,900 ex-showroom, whereas the automatic diesel comes with a sticker price of INR 13,73,900 ex-showroom.

Powering the Nexon Kaziranga is the 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbocharged-petrol engine that makes 120 PS of power and 170 Nm of torque. In the diesel avatar, the Nexon comes with a 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel engine that produces 110 PS of power and 260 Nm of torque. Both the engines come with a 6-speed manual and 6-speed AMT gearbox. The brand offer ventilated front seats, a new in-built air-purifier and an electro-chromatic IRVM.

Harrier Kaziranga Edition

The Tata Harrier Kaziranga edition comes with a starting price tag of INR 20,40,900 ex-showroom. The top-spec automatic transmission variant comes with a sticker price of INR 21,70,900 ex-showroom. The brand retails the Harrier Kaziranga in two trims and both come only with a Diesel engine option.

Powering the Kaziranga edition Harrier is the Kryotec 2.0-litre turbo-diesel engine. The FCA-derived four-cylinder engine produces 170 PS of power and 350 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic. Tata offers front ventilated seats, iRA connected infotainment, OTA updates, Live Vehicle Diagnostics, built-in air purifier and more on the Harrier Kaziranga edition.

Safari Kaziranga Edition

The Tata Safari Kaziranga edition comes with a starting price of INR 20,99,900 ex-showroom for the diesel manual and 7-seat format. The 6-seater version with the diesel manual engine comes with a price tag of INR 21,09,900 ex-showroom. The 7-seater Safari Kaziranga edition with the diesel automatic powertrain comes with a price tag of INR 22,29,900 ex-showroom. On the other hand, the 6-seater version comes with a price tag of INR  22,39,900 ex-showroom.

Powering the Safari Kaziranga edition is a Kryotec 2.0-litre four-cylinder FCA-derived motor. The oil motor produces 170 PS of power and 350 Nm of torque. The engine comes with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission option. Tata also offers the Safari Kaziranga with features such as ventilated front and second-row seats, wireless charging, air-purifier, Jet Black 18-inch alloy wheels and aa lot more.
