Tata opens 10 new showrooms across Delhi NCR in a day

Tata Motors is currently going through a purple patch, as the sales figures are on a historic high. To meet the huge demand of the customers, Tata Motors today announced the opening of 10 new showrooms across Delhi NCR in a single day. With this, there are a total of 29 outlets catering to the people residing in that region with a wide range of Tata Motors’ products and services. Of the 10 new showrooms, seven have come up in Delhi, two in Gurgaon and one in Faridabad. Tata Motors claims that these showrooms get all the latest technology, advanced mechanization and automation which will aim to provide the best-in-class services to the customers.

Tata Motors Is Now The 3rd Most Selling Car Manufacturer In India

In the last fiscal year, i.e. April 2020 to March 2021, Tata Motors sold a cumulative 2,22,025 units which were its highest ever in the last eight years and translates to a growth of 69 per cent of growth when compared to the last fiscal year. The passenger segment vehicles registered an extraordinary growth of 422 per cent as the company sold a total of 29,554 units in March 2021 as against 5,676 units for the same period last year. With the current sales figure, Tata Motors now has a market share of 8.2 per cent, up from 5 per cent last year. Studies and reports suggest that Altroz and Safari are the main models driving the maximum customers towards the brand. In the electric vehicle segment, Tata Motors’ Nexon EV is the highest-selling electric vehicle in the country with more than 4,200 units already sold and has a market share of 64 per cent in the electric vehicle segment.

Tata Motors And Its Future Plans

With the growing demand for SUVs in the market, Tata Motors is reportedly working on a project named HBX. Sources suggest that HBX will sit below the Nexon, in the micro SUV segment and lock its horns with the likes of Maruti Suzuki  Ignis, Ford Freestyle, Mahindra KUV100 NXT and the rumoured Hyundai AX1.
