Tata silently updated the new Nexon in the Indian market. The brand is now possibly reshuffling the variant list by removing a few trims from the diesel line-up. According to reports, leaked communication between the manufacturer and the dealerships suggests that the XE, XMA, XZ and XZA+ (S) trims are likely to get discontinued. Reports also indicate that dealerships are also not accepting orders for the trims mentioned above. In addition to this, the Tectonic Blue colour on the Nexon also appears to be discontinued.
Tata Nexon Price
The Tata Nexon starts at INR 7.20 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi for the petrol model and INR 8.50 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi for the diesel. Interestingly, the XE trim in the diesel is the entry-level model. This means after Tata discontinues the XE trim, the entry-level model will likely go up in days to come. The XMA, XZ and XZA+ (S) trim come with a price tag of INR 8.76 lakh, INR 10.49 lakh and INR 11.16 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi, respectively. The top-of-the-range petrol manual comes at the price of INR 11.03 lakh ex-showroom. The top-spec diesel manual comes with a price of INR 12.36 lakh ex-showroom, and the fully-loaded diesel AMT (Automatic) comes at the price of INR 12.96 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi.
