Tata Nexon.EV prices start at INR 13.99 Lakh, gets new variants

Tata Motors has launched the new Nexon.EV with a larger 45 kWh battery pack at the price of INR 13.99 lakh ex-showroom. The new Tata Nexon.EV with the extended range also comes with faster charging as well as some new features. In addition to this, the Nexon.EV now also gets a new Red Dark edition.

What’s New?

Design wise, the new Tata Nexon.EV remains the same, however, the top-of-the-line Red Dark edition of the electric vehicle features new red themed interiors and exteriors. Tata Motors has revealed that the new Red Dark themed Nexon.EV also features an exclusive UI & UX for the infotainment display as well as the instruments cluster. In addition to this, the Red theme also continues on the panoramic sunroof as well as the frunk.

The EV also features best-in-class features such as Arcade.EV as well as a smart welcome and goodbye sequence on the DRLs. The front DRL also gets a charging indicator built into it. The Nexon.EV also supports Vehicle-to-Vehicle and Vehicle-to-Load charging technology. Which means the EV is capable of charging another electric vehicle in need of charging. Furthermore, Vehicle-to-Load technology allows the user to run home appliances using the battery of the Nexon.EV. The phygital panel on the Tata Nexon.EV also continues to be offered even in its Red Dark edition avatar.

Battery

Powering the new Tata Nexon.EV is a larger 45 kWh battery pack which is now enabled for 1.2C rating fast charging. This battery also allows for longer range of 489 km on a single charge. According to Tata’s C75 real-world test cycle, the 45 kWh battery on the Nexon.EV claims to offer 350-370 km on a single charge. This will not only reduce the range anxiety of the customer but also promote EV adoption.

Prices

Tata is offering the Nexon.EV in 5 Persona’s – Creative 45, Empowered 45, Empowered + 45 and Empowered + 45 Red Dark. The prices start from INR 13.99 Lakh ex-showroom and go upto INR 17.19 Lakh ex-showroom for the Red Dark edition of the Nexon.EV.
