Tata Nexon EV MAX price starts at INR 16.49 lakh, range increased to 453 km

More competition means is good news for existing and new customers of the Tata Nexon EV MAX – eventually it is the customer that wins. Close on the news of the Mahindra XUV400’s launch, Tata Motors has revised the prices of its popular Nexon EV MAX SUV. Tata has also introduced a new entry-level Nexon EV MAX variant dubbed as the XM at a price of INR 16.49 lakhs.

The electric SUV’s high ground clearance, high-water wading capability, Electronic Parking Brake, and Auto Vehicle Hold also make it quite an attractive overall package. Further, the Multi-mode regeneration feature is of a great utility as it adds range to the vehicle when coming downhill.

Updates to the Nexon EV Max 

One of the most critical updates consists of a software patch that will increase the range of the electric SUV to 453 km (MIDC cycle). Tata has also confirmed that existing customers of the car will also be able to get this enhanced range via an upgrade from the service centre. However, existing owners will have to wait till February 15, 2023.

Tata has also revised the price of the XZ+ Lux trim of the Nexon EV MAX to INR 18.49 lakh. This variant comes with ventilated front seats, wireless charter, auto dimming IRVM, electric sunroof, air purifier, 16-inch alloys and more.

New Variant of the Nexon EV Max

Tata has also introduced a new XM trim at INR 16,49 lakh. It comes with automatic climate control, projector headlamps, LED DRLs and LED tail lights amongst others. This new entry-level trim also comes with a push-start button, a digital instrument cluster and ZConnect suite of connectivity features with smartwatch connectivity.

In terms of safety features, the SUV comes with ESC, electronic parking brake and rear disc brakes. Tata has scheduled the deliveries of this variant from April 2023.
