Tata Motors will gift Altroz to Indian athletes at Tokyo Olympics

Tata Motors has announced that the brand will be felicitating the athletes who narrowly missed the Bronze medal with Gold Standard Tata Altroz. Athletes who recently competed at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics not only represented India but also inspired several young sportspersons and aspirants. Therefore the brand will be delivering its most premium hatch, the Altroz to these players. Furthermore, the brand revealed that the Tata Altroz hatchback will be in the High Street Gold colour, thus thanking and recognizing the efforts, sheer hard work and dedication of these players.

Tata Altroz – Price and Colour Options

Prices on the Tata Altroz starts at INR 5.84 lakh ex-showroom and goes up to INR 8.70 lakh for the petrol variant. In the diesel avatar, the Tata Altroz comes with a starting price of INR 7.04 lakh ex-showroom and goes up to INR 9.59 lakh ex-showroom. The Altroz is also available in the iTurbo (Turbo-Petrol) engine variant which comes with a sticker price starting at INR 8.02 lakh ex-showroom and goes all the way up to INR 9.36 lakh ex-showroom. The brand offers High Street Gold, Down Town Red, Mid Town Grey, Avenue White and Harbour Blue colour options.

Tata Altroz – Engine Specifications

Powering the Tata Altroz is a 1.2-litre Revotron three-cylinder naturally-aspirated petrol engine. The engine produces 86 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque. The second option is a 1.5-litre Revotorq turbo-diesel engine. The four-cylinder oil motor produces 90 PS of power and 200 Nm of torque. The third option is a 1.2-litre i-Turbo three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine. The motor produces 110 PS of power and 140 Nm of torque. The entire engine lineup pairs with a 5-speed manual transmission. Tata does not currently offer an automatic gearbox on the Altroz.

Tata Altroz – Dark Edition

Recently, Tata Motors launched the Tata Altroz in the Dark Edition which comes with a starting price tag of INR 5.85 lakh ex-showroom. The new Dark Edition Altroz comes with a new Premium Cosmo Dark colour, a special Dark mascot, 16-inch alloy wheels, premium Dark chrome bits and Granite Black interiors.
