Written by AnantaSaranNayak

Tata Motors announces the launch of the ‘XPRES’ brand, created exclusively for fleet customers. With this, Tata Motors aims to differentiate the individual segment from the fleet segment. Under the new XPRES brand, Tata Motors will introduce various offerings to cater to the needs of safety, passenger comfort, and low maintenance cost. Going forward, all the vehicles sold under this brand will have an elegantly designed XPRES badge. This will help to differentiate itself from the rest. Fleet customers like various state and central government departments, corporates, and mobility services will benefit the most from this new brand. The first vehicle launched under this new brand is the ‘Xpres-T’ EV.

Tata Motors Launches the all-new Xpres-T EV

Electric vehicles’ demand in the country is at an all-time high. And Tata Motors has launched the ‘Xpres-T’ EV to leverage this recent spike in demand. The target audience for this sedan is the large fleet operators who are currently making a shift to electric vehicles. Tata Motors mentioned that the all-new Xpres-T would be soon available at select dealerships across the country for bookings. The car comes with two two range options, 213 km and 165 km (ARAI certified).

Xpres-T: More Details

Tata Motors uses a high-density battery pack of 21.5 kWh and 16.5 kWh, depending upon the range. This sedan can be charged from 0 to 80 per cent in less than 90 mins or 110 mins using the fast charger, depending upon the variant. This adds to a lot of convenience for the customers and helps in alleviating their range fear.

Customers can also use the normal charger to charge their cars using a 15A plug point available at their home or office space. The sedan has all the necessary safety features like dual airbags, ABS with EBD, and more. Tata Motors uses a black interior theme with electric blue inserts, thus differentiating the car from the rest of Tata’s range of products.
