The front bumper houses a fog lamp with matte black housings along with a blue accented trim and the lower grille is detailed with blue tri-arrows. The light blue theme continues on the side below the window sill from the A-pillar to the C-pillar of the car. The Nexon EV gets turn signal indicators in the wing mirrors and just below that is the ‘EV’ badging which suggests that the car is powered by electricity. The rear of the car has a 3D design tail lamp and continues with recessed reflectors on the bumper and a faux silver skid plate. The Nexon EV is powered by a Liquid-Cooled Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor with a 30.2 kWh lithium-ion liquid-cooled battery pack rated to IP67 standards. The powertrain can develop 129 PS of power and 245 Nm of torque coupled to a single-speed transmission and the manufacturer claims a range of more than 300 km on a single charge. The car can sprint from 0-100 kmph in 9.9 seconds and has a front-wheel drive. The Nexon EV has two charging modes, namely fast and regular the fast charger can achieve an 80% state of charge in 60 minutes and the regular charging time takes 8 hours from 20% to 100% when plugged into a 15A socket.
