Tata Motors reveals 21 new commercial vehicles in a single day

To accentuate its commitment towards supporting India’s economic growth, Tata Motors has unveiled 21 new products and variants. One of India’s largest commercial manufacturers has designed and engineered the products to cater to cargo and people transportation needs. Spread across various segments and applications, the vehicles enhance Tata Motors’ established ‘Power of 6’ benefit proposition. This enables their specific usage and application while offering high productivity and a low cost of ownership (TCO).

Tata Motors has been at the forefront of technology and product innovation that contribute and facilitate the nation’s growth. Along with segment introduction, the company offers value-added services for vehicle maintenance via the Sampoorna Seva 2.0 initiative. The company also sports the widest service network, which offers 24X7 optimal fleet management via Fleet Edge. Tata Motors continues to set new benchmarks for transportation solutions, offering customers more benefits and a low TCO.

Medium & Heavy Commercial Vehicles: 

Tata Motors has unveiled seven new vehicles for this segment, offering superior features, performance, and TCO for varied duty cycles. The new Tata Signa 5530.S offers enhanced performance during heavy-duty applications with a faster turn-around time. Tata’s new Signa 4623.S offers flexibility across duty cycles thanks to its 5.6-litre Cummins engine. This engine produces 230 PS of power and 850 Nm of torque. The company’s new Signa 4625.S ESC features the industry’s first electronic stability system offered on a commercial vehicle.

The new Signa 4221.T features the tried and tested 5-liter Turbotronn engine, which offers high fuel efficiency. The Tata Signa 4021.S provides a tractor-trailer application with better efficiency. Tata’s new Signa 3118.T is the country’s first 10-wheeler 31 tonne truck with a 12.5-tonne lift axle. The new Prima 2830.K offers RMC with Rear Engine Power Take-Off (REPTO) technology that reduces operating costs by 11%.

Intermediate & Light Commercial Vehicles: 

Tata Motors has unveiled 5 new vehicles for e-commerce servicing, designed for better manoeuvrability and faster turn-around for this segment. For the 18-tonne LCV segment, Tata’s new Ultra T.18 SL offers a best-in-class payload of 11.5 tonnes. The new 407G has been the brand’s ideal CNG-powered pick-up truck utilized for last-mile deliveries.

Its new 709G CNG offers the best-in-class performance along with the largest loading area. The new LPT 510 allows for easy manoeuvrability through narrow lanes via its unique 10-ft load body and a short wheelbase. Tata’s new Ultra T.6 provides a faster turn-around and easy driving comfort.

Small Commercial Vehicles and Pick-Ups: 

Tata Motors has introduced four new vehicles for this segment to improve last-mile delivery efficiency and reduce operational costs. The new Winger Cargo acts as a complete delivery solution that aids in e-commerce distribution. The Ace Petrol CX cab chassis is the lowest-priced 4-wheeler used for multiple commercial applications. The new Ace Gold Diesel+ offers improved fuel efficiency and driving experience in an era of skyrocketing fuel prices. The final launch is the new Intra V30 High deck introduced as a Smart PU.

Passenger Commercial Vehicles: 

For this segment, Tata Motors has introduced five new vehicles for enhanced comfort and convenience for passengers. The new Winger 15S is a luxury LCV that offers a plush ride and segment-first comfort features. Also, the new Starbus 4/12 LE is an electric bus that offers zero-emission urban mass mobility.

The new Starbus 2200 series of buses aim to fulfil school and staff transportation needs. The Cityride Prime LPO 1315 offers a spacious passenger salon and a wider gangway. The new Magna coach is a 13.5-meter bus that offers luxurious inter-city travel with enhanced passenger comfort.
