Tata motors managed 69,599 unit sales in April 2023

Back in April 2022, Tata recorded its total sales at 72,468 units as compared to April 2023 where it stood at 69,599. For domestic sales particularly, Tata had a decreased sale of 4% for the present year.

Commercial Vehicles

The commercial vehicles of Tata also had an overall decrease of 28%. The Y-o-Y statistics of growth of HCV Trucks went in a downfall of 6%. ILMCV trucks sales rate fell down to 62%. Passenger carriers, SCV cargo and pick up also fell down to 4% and 30% respectively.

The domestic sale of MH & ICV, including buses and trucks, stood at 8834 units whereas the sales of April 2022 stood at 12069 units. The sales of domestic and international business, collectively, was 12524 in 2022 and 9364 in 2023.

Passenger Vehicles

The passenger vehicle segment of Tata showed a positive growth pattern. The stats below show both subsidiaries of Tata motors (passenger vehicles and electric mobility).

Total sales of passenger vehicles (including EV) had a growth of 13% where April 2022 sales stood at 41,587 and April 2023 stood at 47,007 units. The export side business of passenger vehicles showed a massive growth of 133%. The sales of PV in April 2022 was 43 units whereas in April 2023 they sold a total 100 units.

Tata Nexon EV Max #Dark

Very recently, Tata launched its New Nexon EV Max in a dark edition. The car comes with charcoal gray alloy wheels, a satin black beltline and humanity line (as an exterior feature). Also, with a #dark mascot on its fender. As we move to the interior features, it has dark-themed leatherette upholstery, door trims with tri-arrow perforations.

This version has only 1 BIG new feature which is a 26.03cm infotainment by Harman. It is a TFT HD display (1920×720) which has a voice assist feature with 180+ commands in 6 languages. Equipped with Android Auto and Apple Play, the infotainment is also accompanied by a climate control console feature and an HD Rear camera display.

The ARAI certified range of this car, on a full charge is claimed to be 453 km. The fast charge feature of this car allows 0-80% in 56 minutes. The car can also go from 0-100 kmph in under 9 seconds. The Tata Nexon Ev Max #dark has a 40.5 kWh and an IP67 rated high-energy density li-ion battery pack. It produces 143 Ps of power and 250 Nm of torque.
