Written by AnantaSaranNayak

Tata Motors has introduced a new trim for the Tiago. The XT Rhythm variant, the latest addition to Tiago, will retail for a price tag of INR 6.45 lakhs (ex-showroom). Hence customers opting for this trim will have to pay INR 45,000 more than the regular XT variant. And to give a perspective, this trim is costlier by INR 5,000 compared to the XZ variant. Thus, the XT Rhythm variant sits below the XZ Plus variant and is cheaper by INR 38,000. Customers confused between the XZ and XZ Plus variants can safely opt for this new XT Rhythm trim.

What’s Extra In The XT Rhythm Trim?

There are some additions with the extra INR 45,000 that customers pay over the regular XT variant. This includes a larger 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and 2 additional tweeters along with the existing 4 speakers on offer.

This infotainment system supports voice commands, image, and video playback. Moreover, the reverse camera output is also shown on this screen. For convenience, Tiago also gets ‘dynamic’ guidelines for the reverse camera, which adapt to the steering inputs.

No Changes To The Mechanicals

With the above changes in place, there are no mechanical upgrades. Thus, Tiago continues with the same 1.2-litre petrol engine that makes 85 BHP and 113 Nm of torque. The Tiago is available with two transmission options – a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT unit.
