Tata Motors, on the occasion of World EV Day, celebrated on the 8th September, introduced the ‘NEXON EV 3D Commerce’, a new three-dimensional and immersive visualization suite for the Nexon EV range on the brand’s official website. The ‘Nexon EV 3D Commerce’ is powered by Eccentric Engine’s One 3D platform, and provides the customers with a detailed 3D purchasing experience from the safety and comfort of home, especially in times of the pandemic.

The Nexon EV 3D Commerce is a 360-degree virtual experience that allows customers to explore the Nexon EV in detail and look at the features of the electric vehicle such as colours, variant features and the accessories. The brand also boasts that the Nexon EV 3D Commerce will be the first automotive E-Commerce experience with 3D at its core, right from the Home Page.

The Tata Nexon EV is powered by an IP67 standards-compliant Liquid-Cooled Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor coupled to a 30.2 kWh lithium-ion liquid-cooled battery pack that can develop 129 PS of power and 245 Nm of torque matched to a single-speed transmission. The Tata Nexon EV comes with an ARAI tested range of 312 km on a single charge.

The brand has announced that the Nexon EV will be available from an all-inclusive fixed rental starting at just INR 41,900/- per month.

Also, Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL), a Super Energy Service Company (ESCO) under the administrative control of Ministry of Power, Government of India, has announced that the company will procure 150 Nexon EV for Govt. use which will replace the ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) that are currently on duty in the Central and State governments.
