Tata Motors has now sold over 6,000 units of Nexon EV. With this, Tata Motors currently has over 8,500 electric vehicles plying on Indian roads. The carmaker is now at a commanding position in the market, with 7 out of 10 cars in the electric segment being the Nexon EV. In addition to this, various state governments have also commissioned the Nexon EV into multiple departments. This helps in proving the brand’s dedication towards evolving the e-mobility segment in India. Given the climate change, EV proves to be the best alternative to counter this problem. Traditional ICE engines are one of the main contributors to pollution, thus making these pollution-free EVs the future for the automotive industry.
