Before the end of the fiscal year 2024-25, Tata Motors has achieved a new feat. The company’s electric wing has successfully sold more than 2 lakh EVs since the launch of the first electric car. On this behalf, Tata is offering big discounts on the new EV models. Check out below.

The consistently growing popularity of electric cars in India has been silently fueled by the Tata EV cars. The first electric model that Tata launched was the Nexon. It does wonders for the company and establishes a solid ground for the next series of electric models.

Currently, Tata.EV is a separate wing that is solely dedicated to the sales and servicing of electric cars. The current fleet of the products includes the Nexon, Curvv, and Punch EVs, which will be soon joined by the Harrier EV in March.

A primary reason for the Tata EV car’s popularity is its affordable pricing and safe cabin. Additionally, Tata’s widespread network has also helped in the growth of the electric model sales over time.

To celebrate the 2 lakh sales mark, Tata.EV has launched new offers for customers. The company is offering an exchange bonus and a loyalty bonus of Rs 50,000. Additionally, new EV buyers can avail of 100 per cent finance on their new EV cars.

Tata is also offering an AC wall charger of 7.2 kW capacity and its home installation free of cost. Moreover, new customers can enjoy free charging at any Tata charging station for 6 months after the purchase of an EV.

Our verdict

Tata Motors’ contribution to the Indian electric car market, especially the mass-market EVs, is commendable. Now, the next step that the company is aiming, for is to focus on the premium buyers through the upcoming Harrier, Safari, and Sierra EVs.
