Tata Motors launches Click to Drive online sales platform

Written by Nizam Shaikh

Tata Motors has launched a new end to end online sales platform called ‘Click to Drive’. The Click to Drive online sales network allows customers to buy Tata passenger vehicles from the safety of their homes and avail free home delivery on a predecided date or pick up the car at a scheduled time from the nearest dealership. The brand has integrated 750 Tata dealerships across the country with the Click to Buy platform.

Interested buyers can register on the dedicated Click to Drive portal and select the vehicle of their choice from the vehicle portfolio. Customers can avail information about the buy using a video brochure which helps the customer discover the car’s features. For the new Tata Altroz, the website also has a unique immersive virtual showroom called the Imaginator. The Imaginator allows the customers to customize the vehicle by applying customization options such as exterior colours and trim variants.

The Click to Drive comes with four easy steps which start by allowing the customer to explore the car and SUV range and allowing the customers to take their own time by coming to a decision and knowing all the features of the selected vehicle.

The next step is to select the dealership through which the customer wishes to purchase the car. The customer can then pay a booking amount online and await a call from the dealer. The dealership will allot a sales consultant which will provide the customer with the price quotation estimates, financial options and estimates on the old car in case of a buyback option. The customer can choose multiple communication options such as E-mail, WhatsApp or Video chat. The final step is to plan the delivery of the car which can be delivered at home or at a scheduled time pick up from the dealership.

The brand has the Tata Tiago, Tigor, Altroz, Nexon and the Harrier in the Click to Drive portfolio.
