Tata Motors adds 160 new service workshops

Tata Motors adds 160 new service workshops for its passenger range of vehicles in FY 21-22. With this, the count has now reached 705 operational workshops across the country as of 1st April 2022. In the past 2 to 3 years, there has been significant growth for Tata Motors in terms of sales volume. And hence it is necessary to increase the service centre network across the country. With the recent expansion of its service networks across the country, Tata Motors now covers 485 cities. This is also evident from the fact that Tata Motors increased the number of cars serviced in FY22 by 30 per cent as compared to the last fiscal.

Unique Service Experience For Tata Motors Customers

In an attempt to serve more customers, Tata Motors announced the EzServe. This is a unique customer-friendly doorstep two-wheeler-based service concept. With the current work set up from home, this service concept will appeal to a wide range of audiences. Through EzServe, customers can avail of basic service and quick repairs. This is a great initiative that will help the customers save time and effort and thus provide them with low-cost annual maintenance schemes.

Tata Motor’s main focus is to retain more customers and enhance the customer service experience. Each EzServe comes with an elaborate kit that contains three utility boxes on the motorcycle’s rear. Inside these boxes, there are spare parts, a vacuum cleaner, a jack and jack stand, and several hand tools. Tata Motors has confirmed that they will ensure that the senior technicians will provide this service and carry proper ID cards.

Digital Services On The Rise

With the increase in digitalization, the same is the trend in the automotive industry as well. Tata Motors is increasingly expanding its digital services. Tata Motors Service Connect App can get the customers’ queries resolved, provide cost estimations and also provide real-time data to the concerned after-sales teams. Moreover, the app also brings the facility of contactless service support in terms of online services like booking, vehicle pick up requests, cost repair estimates for scheduled and frequent jobs, updates on vehicle repair status and more.
