Tata launches Nexon EV Max XZ+ Lux with new infotainment

Big news for Tata Motors and customers looking to get the Nexon EV. The carmaker has now upgraded the infotainment system on the top-spec Nexon EV Max (XZ+ Lux). Till now the EV came with a 7.0-inch display. This has been the case since it was launched in May 2022. Now, Tata Motors is using a new 10.25-inch display, instead of a 7.0-inch unit. This infotainment unit is similar to what was shown at the 2023 Auto Expo. This is the exact unit already in use in the Harrier and Safari. After its EV debut, we also expect it to also make its way to the ICE-powered Nexon soon.

Key Features of the Nexon EV Max’s New Touchscreen

In an official statement, Tata Motors said that the new Harman system gets a resolution of 1920X720. This unit is wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay compatible, adding to a massive convenience. Other features include HD rear camera, 180+ voice commands in six languages (English, Hindi, Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi), a voice assistant in six languages, and a new User Interface (UI). Tata Nexon EV – The Most Sold EV In India

The Tata Nexon EV is currently available in the Prime and Max guise. The Prime range starts at INR 14.49 lakh and goes all the way up to INR 17.19 lakh. On the other hand, the Nexon EV Max range falls in the INR 16.49 lakh to INR 19.54 lakh (All-India ex-showroom) bracket. With the rise in demand for EVs, Tata Nexon has been in much demand. So much so that it is currently the most-sold EV in the Indian market. Taking advantage of the first mover strategy, Tata Motors has been selling in good numbers. After Nexon, Tata Motors also came forward with EV versions of Tigor and Tiago. Thus, adding more options n the EV range to choose from.
