Tata Hexa specifications revealed

Tata revealed the Hexa SUV at a pre-launch drive in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The company has now released the specifications of this car which will be going on sale soon in the coming months.

Powering the Hexa is a 2,179cc, inline 4-cylinder, VARICOR 400 diesel engine which will produce 154 BHP of power at 4000 RPM and 400 Nm of torque at 1700-2700 RPM. This engine will be mated to a 6 speed manual or a 6 speed automatic gearbox.

The SUV is pretty large in dimensions measuring 4788mm x 1903mm x 1791mm (LxWxH). The wheelbase measures at 2850mm while the ground clearance of this car is at 200mm. The SUV will have a fuel tank with a capacity of 60 liters.

Disc brakes go on all four wheels of this SUV. The front end also gets a double whishbone suspension with spring coils while the rear end gets a 5 link axle with spring coils. 19-inch alloy wheels with tire size of 235/55 are a standard on all models.
