Tata’s next big launch, the Bolt is slated for a early-2015 market debut. The Bolt is expected to slowly phase out the Vista hatchback and take the fight in the B2 segment forward all-alone.

The Bolt will be powered by a 1.2L petrol and a 1.3L diesel motor. The 1.2L petrol unit is the turbocharged Revotron motor producing 90 PS of power @ 5,000 RPM and 140 Nm of torque @ 1,500-4,000 RPM mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The 1.3L diesel motor is the same Fiat-sourced engine producing 75 PS of power @ 4,000 RPM and 190 Nm of torque @ 1,750-3,000 RPM mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
