Harley-Davidson has announced its all-new 2022 Pan America 1250 and Pan America 1250 Special adventure touring motorcycles for the global markets. Launched alongside several other motorcycles across various segments in 2022, the brand has announced its plans of launching more motorcycles. It will announce limited-production 2022 models from its Custom Vehicle Operations (CVO) and other models via its World Premier Event. Meanwhile, Harley-Davidson launched the Pan America 1250 and 1250 Special in February 2021, taking the ADV world by storm. 2022 Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 & 1250 Special: Design Details Targeted at customers who embrace real-life adventure, the 2022 Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 features a rugged, off-road themed design language. The 1250 sports black-finished 5-spoke alloy wheels, exhaust, fuel tank console, and 2 colour options - Gauntlet Grey Metallic and Vivid Black. Along with a windscreen, the 2022 Pan America 1250 features an LED headlamp, LED taillight, and a passenger seat. Meanwhile, the 2022 Pan America 1250 Special is a premium adventure touring motorcycle with additional exclusive features and design details. These include a centre stand, multi-position rear brake pedal, brush guard, aluminium skid plate, LED adaptive headlight, and Hand Wind deflectors. Along with optional laced wheels, the bike features a special dual-tone Fastback Blue with a White Sand colour. 2022 Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 & 1250 Special: Technical Specs & Features Powering the 1250 and 1250 Special is the 1,252cc, Revolution Max 1250 engine with Electronic Sequential Port Fuel Injection. Harley-Davidson has paired the four-valve DOHC motor to a 6-speed gearbox with an eight plate, wet, assist slip clutch. The brand has also equipped a semi-active suspension system on the 2022 Pan America 1250 Special and Vehicle Loading Control. This allows the rider to switch between 5 rides modes- Comfort, Balanced, Sport, Off-Road Soft, and Off-Road Firm. Both bikes feature the stressed-member, high strength low alloy steel trellis frame with 47mm, electronically adjustable, Showa front forks. Both bikes also feature a BFRC, linkage-mounted monoshock suspension, 19-inch front wheels, 17-inch rear wheels, and a 21.2-litre fuel tank. In terms of braking performance, both bikes feature dual, 320mm front discs with a single 280mm disc at the rear. Harley-Davidson also offers a 6.8-inch touchscreen infotainment display with Bluetooth connectivity, and moving map navigation.
