Suzuki Motorcycles India Limited is planning to add 70 more dealerships before the end of FY2015-15.
70 new dealerships in the final quarter suggests that the brand is very keen on increasing the number of touchpoints and making their products more accessible to the end user.
Suzuki is currently managing good sales figures of the recently launched Lets scooter and the Gixxer motorcycle. A fully-faired version of the Gixxer was also spotted recently suggesting that the launch could happen in a couple of months.
With products clicking well in the market, it is a good thing to reach out to more people and cash in.
Suzuki will also focus on rural markets where they lack in the number of dealer touchpoints.
The company is looking to add 400 more dealerships in the near future and increase their network from the current 600 facilities.
