Suzuki sold 87,859 two-wheelers in October 2022

Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL), the two-wheeler subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation, has reported its sales figure. The company recorded an overall sales figure of 87,859 units for the month of October 2022. This results in a year-on-year sales growth of 27 per cent as compared to the same month last year.

The company sold a total of 69,634 units in the domestic market and exported 18,225 units in October 2022. With the given figures, the company registered the highest overall sales figure of 87,859 units to date. All this after considering the fact that Suzuki Motorcycle India sells premium products in the domestic market. Thus, the rising sales figure is an excellent indicator of Suzuki’s effort and customers responding to that with their love for the brand.

Rising Popularity Of Suzuki In India

This remarkable sales increase also indicates a sign of the brand’s growing popularity in the domestic and overseas two-wheeler market. Looking at the current sales momentum, Suzuki remains confident that they will continue to experience steady demand both from the domestic and overseas markets in the future too. In October 2022, the company announced a new exciting colour variant for its popular scooter, Suzuki Access 125. The ‘Solid Ice Green / Pearl Mirage White’ shade is available for Suzuki Access 125 Ride Connect and Special Editions. The new colour joined the existing colour range options, thus adding value to the youthful and modern appeal of the Suzuki scooter.

Suzuki recently took the wraps off its latest version of the Hayabusa, dubbed the Bol d’Or edition. With this, the Japanese hypersport comes with a slew of cosmetic and mechanical upgrades. This Bol d’Or retains the essence of the Hayabusa, and it does feature a new paint scheme of golden and black. The use of the Bol d’Or sticker on the side fairing adds to the motorcycle’s exclusiveness.

The special edition features a flatter saddle, a new rear seat cowl, a front brake and clutch lever upgrade, and a shorter tail. This Suzuki Hayabusa Bol d’Or is limited to just 100 units. Moreover, only customers residing in France can buy this particular edition. Suzuki has put on an asking price of EUR 27,499, which is approximately INR 22.60 lakh.
