Suzuki sold 79,359 two-wheelers in November 2022

Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL), the two-wheeler subsidiary of Suzuki Motor Corporation has reported its sales report. The two-wheeler maker recorded an overall sales figure of 79,359 units in November 2022. The company registered a double-digit year-on-year growth of 21 per cent compared to November 2021. With the rising sales figure, represents the opening of businesses in the post-Covid world.

Detailed Sales Breakup

The company sold a total of 63,156 units in the domestic market. Meanwhile, the company exported 16,203 units in November 2022. Suzuki Motorcycle India successfully maintained a strong sales momentum for this month too. The company achieved a year-on-year double-digit growth in the month.

This reflects in the growing popularity and demand for Suzuki two-wheeler products in domestic and export markets. In fact, this is the 3rd consecutive month in which Suzuki has registered double-digit year-on-year growth. Suzuki Access 125 continues to lead the sales figure as the most-sold 125cc scooter in the country. Gixxer 155 series too have a major contribution to the sales numbers.

Suzuki At EICMA 2022

Having said that, Suzuki showcased an interesting product at the EICMA 2022. This includes the V-Strom 800 DE, which will likely make its way to India sometime next year. Once launched it will go up against the BMW 850 GS, Triumph Tiger 900 and the upcoming Honda Transalp 750 which is also expected to make its debut next year.
