Suzuki reveals V-Strom 1050XT Tour

Suzuki has introduced the V-Strom 1050 XT Tour in the European market priced at GBP 12,799. The Tour Edition features two side panniers and a top box as a standard part of the pack and benefits the customer by saving GBP 370 over the purchase of the luggage system if purchased individually. In the Tour Edition, the two side panniers and the top box adds 112 litres of storage capacity. The Standard Suzuki V-Strom 1050 XT is priced GBP 11,599 in the UK.  

Furthermore, the Suzuki V-Strom 1050 XT features a fully adjustable windscreen, knuckle guards, 12V DC socket & a USB charging socket, height-adjustable seat and a centre stand. The Suzuki V-Strom 1050 XT also features LED headlamps, LED tail lamps, beak integrated with the body and fuel tank, two-up seats, upswept exhausts and LCD instruments cluster with a digital speedometer, digital tachometer, gear indicator, odometer, trip meter, fuel consumption indicator, driving range, and more. 

The Suzuki V-Strom 1050 XT Tour is powered by a Euro5 emission-compliant 1037cc liquid-cooled four-stroke 90-degree V-twin-cylinder engine with electronic fuel injection that produces 107 PS of power and 100 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed gearbox. The Adventure Class motorcycle tips the scales at 247 kg and offers a claimed fuel efficiency of 57.65 MPG which converts to approximately 24 kmpl. 

The V-Strom 1050 XT Tour features oil damped inverted telescopic fork with coil spring on the front and oil damped link type coil spring assisted monoshock on the rear. The V-Strom 1050 XT rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels. In terms of dimensions, the V-Strom 1050 XT Tour is 2,265 mm in length, 940 mm in width, 1465 mm in height, 1,555 mm of the wheelbase and a commanding 850 mm – 870 mm of saddle height. The V-Strom 1050 XT Tour also comes with a large 20-litre fuel tank for extra highway touring range. 

In the Indian market, Suzuki is gearing up to launch the V-Strom 650 XT ABS with the BS6 compliant engine. The Euro5-spec model has been launched recently in the Australian market.
