Suzuki Motorcycle India sold 72,200 units sale in February 2022

Suzuki Motorcycle India has sold a total of 72,200 units for February 2022. The motorcycle maker’s sales breakup reads as 58,603 units for the domestic mark and 13,597 units for the overseas market. After opening up of businesses, the demand is back to the pre-Covid level. But the erratic supply in semiconductor chips is causing significant constraints in terms of production. Suzuki Motorcycle India also reiterated its ongoing challenges due to the shortage in semiconductor availability. But, there are reports suggesting that semiconductor availability will improve in the coming months. This will help revamp production and generate more sales.

Suzuki Avenis Is Here

Riding on the success of its scooters, Suzuki introduced a new scooter in its portfolio called, Avenis. Aimed towards the younger generation, Avenis gets a modern overall outlook with its athletic design language. The scooter’s aggressive front fascia uplifts the look of the scooter greatly. Powering the scooter is an air-cooled single-cylinder 125cc four-stroke engine. The performance output figure reads as 8.6 Hp of power and 10 Nm of torque.

Keeping up with the competition, Suzuki has added all the modern features with this scooter. Key equipment includes a full digital instruments cluster with Suzuki Ride Connect integration, turn-by-turn navigation, alloy wheels, front disc brake and more. Being a 125cc scooter, Avenis will lock its horns against TVS Ntorq, Honda Grazia and Activa 125.
