Suzuki launches V-Strom 650XT ABS for INR 7.46 lakh

After a long wait, Suzuki has finally launched the V-Strom 650XT ABS motorcycle in the Indian market. The brand terms this as a ‘Do-It-All’ motorcycle and this adventure tourer has been priced at INR 7.46 lakh ex-showroom Delhi. One can buy the V-Strom 650XT ABS in 2 colour options – Champion Yellow Color No. 2 and Pearl Glacier White.

This bike is brought to India as a CKD kit, and will rival the likes of Kawasaki Versys 650.

Powering this motorcycle is a 645cc, liquid-cooled, DOHC, 4-stroke, 90° V-twin, gasoline engine producing 69 HP of power and 64 Nm of torque matched to a 6-speed gearbox. The engine gets fuel injection and also comes with 3-mode traction control. There’s ABS, digital+analogue speedo console, power outlet, adjustable windscreen, large fuel tank 20L, single-piece contoured seat, top case mount, telescopic front fork, rear monoshock, spoked rims, and the likes.

The bike rides on Bridgestone Battlax Adventure A40 tyres which are tubeless and specially designed for this bike even though it runs on spoked rims.

For the Indian regulations, Suzuki is offering saree guard and front number plate bracket as standard fitment.
