Suzuki Motorcycle has brought in its range of OBD 2-compliant scooters. This includes Access, Avenis and Burgman street scooters. The scooters are also E20-ready and hence they will now run on 20 per cent ethanol-blended fuel.
Price Range Of These Scooters
The price for the Access 125 now starts from INR 79,400 and goes up to INR 89,500. Meanwhile, the price for the Avenis starts from INR 92,000 and goes up to INR 92,300. Lastly, the price for the Suzuki Burgman Street starts from INR 93,000 and goes up to INR 97,000 (all prices Ex-showroom).
Suzuki Scooters Now OBD2 And E20 Ready
The upcoming new OBD2 compliant is a great move towards controlling carbon emissions. The OBD2 will run real-time diagnosis which will aid in keeping track of the carbon emissions. Furthermore, with E20 ready as well the vehicles will now become more environmentally friendly.
Suzuki Scooter Engine Highlights
All three aforementioned scooters get the same 125 cc, fuel-injected, single-cylinder engine. The motor makes 8.5 BHP at 6,750 rpm and 10 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm. The engine comes with a CVT transmission.
Suzuki Scooters Key Highlights
The Access 125 is now available in Standard, special and Ride connect editions. The standard edition comes with Drum and Disc brake options. Whereas the Special and Ride connect editions equip disc brakes as standard.
Meanwhile, Avenis is available in standard and Race editions. At the same time, Burgman street is available in standard and Ride connect editions. Suzuki Avenis now comes with a new Metallic Sonic Silver and Metallic Triton Blue colour scheme. On the other hand, Burgman Street is now available in the Pearl Matte Shadow Green shade. As mentioned previously all engines are now OBD-2 and E20 ready. These scooters now have an On-board Diagnostics System. This system detects emissions in real-time which adds to controlling the carbon emission.
