Suzuki’s premium scooter offering, the Burgman Street now gets a new matte black paint option. The Japanese two-wheeler giant announced today that this 125cc-class maxi-scooter will get a new colour in addition to the existing gloss black, pearl white and matte grey colours. The Suzuki Burgman Street 125cc is priced at INR 69,208 ex-showroom.

The design of the Suzuki Burgman Street is unlike any other in our market. A typical maxi-scooter design first came to India with the Kinetic Blaze, but that product was a flop in our market. As of now, it is only the Burgman Street which is such a bulky scooter for the mass market in India.

The Suzuki Burgman Street comes powered by a 124cc, single-cylinder, aluminium engine with SEP which produces 8.7 PS of power @ 7000 RPM and 10.2 Nm of torque @ 5000 RPM matched to a conventional CVT gearbox. The scooter has a telescopic front suspension and a single rear shock absorber.

The Burgman Street comes with features such as LED DRLs, LED headlamp, LED tail lamp, digital speedo console, USB charger as option, front glovebox with lid, front pockets, front fly screen, luggage hooks, angled foot rest for optimum comfort and more…

The Suzuki Burgman Street rivals the likes of Honda Grazia, Aprilia SR 125, Piaggio Vespa 125 in the Indian market. The engine on the Burgman Street, which we have also seen on the Access 125 is a proven and reliable motor. Also, the scooter packs decent punch for being a good, comfortable, urban commuter.
