Suzuki E-Access – First Ride Review

Written by Parichay Malvankar

In this quick ride review, the Suzuki e-Access impresses with its balanced handling, low center of gravity, and confidence-inspiring ride on a tight go-kart track. It feels stable and easy to control—ideal for first-time scooter riders or EV buyers.

While the suspension couldn’t be thoroughly tested, it felt typical for an Indian scooter—compliant over rumblers without being overly stiff. The 12-inch tyres offered great grip through corners, and braking performance was reassuring without being overly sharp, making it beginner-friendly.

There’s a noticeable EV whine, but it isn’t intrusive. Ergonomics are spacious even for a rider weighing 85 kg and 5’8″ tall, with room to ride comfortably for 20+ minutes. With the Honda Activa Electric struggling to find its footing, Suzuki has a real shot at success with the e-Access by building on the ICE Access legacy in EV form.
