After having a rough journey in the Indian performance two-wheeler segment, seems like Suzuki is planning to discontinue the Inazuma in India.
If you visit the Indian website for Suzuki, you will no longer find the Inazuma listed over there.
Where the initial pricing of the motorcycle took it close to being a market dud, Suzuki responded by a price reduction by upto 1 lakh on the Inazuma. In recent times, the motorcycle was retailing at Rs. 2.09 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).
The Inazuma was powered by a 4-stroke, twin-cylinder, liquid-cooled, SOHC petrol motor producing 24 BHP of power mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
Post the price correction, it was being reported that the bike received a positive response. But the bike lacked in the looks department and outright performance when compared to the competition.
Is this the end of road for the Inazuma in India? We will have to wait for an official confirmation from Suzuki.
