Suzuki Access 125 Ride Connect TFT Edition details
The newly introduced top variant is called Ride Connect TFT Edition, and it sits above the Ride Connect variant, which was earlier the top-spec.
At a launch price of Rs 1,01,900 (ex-showroom), the new variant is offering a 4.2-inch colour TFT instrument display. The new console supports Bluetooth, turn-by-turn navigation, SMS/call alerts, and more.
It is Rs 6,800 expensive than the Ride Connect LCD variant. Suzuki is also offering it in a new paint scheme called Pearl Mat Aqua Silver.
Additionally, Suzuki claims that the new TFT screen features faster response time, brighter visuals, faster refresh rates, higher contrast ratios, and accurate colour grades for an overall seamless user experience.
Other than the TFT console and the new colour addition, the rest of the scooter remains unaltered. It continues using the peppy 125cc engine, which is now OBD-2B-compliant, developing 8.3 bhp and 10.2 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively.
The new-gen Access 125 was introduced in India earlier this year with a new design and improved performance. It competes with the Honda Activa 125 and TVS Jupiter 125.
Our verdict
The new colour TFT console on the updated new-gen Access 125 is a thoughtful feature addition. It not only improves the riding experience, but its connected features, like the navigation support, offer safe commuting as well.
