Studds Urban Super helmet launched at INR 1,050

World’s largest two-wheeler helmet manufacturer, STUDDS Accessories Ltd. has announced the launch of the Urban Super Helmet. The new Urban Super Helmet is priced at INR 1050 making it one of the most affordable helmets in the Indian market. The Urban Super Helmet comes with an open face design and is designed to provide a balance between safety and comfort. The helmet is offered in two basic sizes- Large (580 mm) and Extra Large (600 MM).

The Urban Super Helmet features a higher impact outer shell and UV resistant paint, for increased durability and longer life. The helmet also features regulated density EPS, hypoallergenic liner and a quick release chin strap. The Urban Super Helmet also comes with Hot Air Exhausts feature designed to allow the movement of air through the helmet and keep the interior free of humidity.

Adding to the safety and comfort the Urban Super features soft inner padding with premium quality fabric hypoallergic liner protects the rider from allergies or infections arising from continuous contact with damp helmet liners during hot humid and rainy days. The helmet is offered in eight different colour options- White with Black stripe, Matt Black with Black stripe, Gun Grey Matt with Black stripe, Gun Grey with Black stripe, Cherry Red with Black stripe, Black with Black stripe, Flame Blue with Black stripe and Matt Blue with Black stripe.

Recently, STUDDS also announced that the company has commenced operations at its new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Faridabad in Haryana. The new facility boasts to be the largest helmet manufacturing plants in Asia and has been set-up with an initial investment of INR 160 Crore and is spread across an area of over 5.5 acres. The new Faridabad manufacturing unit will produce the STUDDS’ most popular Shifter and Thunder series along with a new range of bicycle helmets for the domestic market.

A World Health Organisation report suggests that head injuries are the leading cause of fatalities among two-wheeler riders and the fatalities can be reduced by 42% and the head injuries by 69% by wearing an Automotive Safety-Compliant helmet while riding two-wheelers.
