Steelbird SA-2 Helmet – Top Features

The Steelbird SA-2 helmet also comes with vents on the chin, forehead and on top of the lid. The vents are shuttable and do an excellent job of bringing fresh air into the lid. The helmet in the review video came with a clear visor and Steelbird is also offering you a clear pinlock with an Anti-Fog Shield Visor. However, there is no inbuilt sunshade in this helmet, but users can easily slide in their sunglasses thanks to the compliant internal padding.

The SA-2 is a multi-weather helmet and comes with a winder padding liner with a detachable neckpad. The liner is waterproof as well and is easily detachable with press clip locking. Steelbird also offers the SA-2 with a a summer interior trim. The helmet weighs 1350 grams +/- 50 grams and comes with a very useful visor lock, for added safety. This makes the SA-2 an all-weather companion but it does miss out on one thing. The Steelbird SA-2 does not offer a double-D-ring and instead comes with a micrometric fastner.
