Ather Energy, an electric two-wheeler startup, has announced some special offers on its offerings. These include extended battery warranty, on the spot exchange offers and free access to its fast-charging grid amongst others. These offers are valid till the end of this month.
Details of the offers
For starters, the Bangalore-based company is offering extended warranty at just INR 1. The usual price for the same is to the tune of INR 6,999. This will make the validity of the scooter’s battery for 5 years or 60,000 km whichever is earlier. The standard battery warranty that comes with the scooter is for 3 years.
For users preferring the finance option, Ather will give you it’s scooter for a low down payment of just 5 percent of the total vehicle price. Additionally, the loan would be processed in just 45 minutes and there would be no processing charges to be paid. In terms of EMI, the lowest EMI would be around INR 2,975 per month.
Users looking to upgrade from an ICE scooter, will get INR 4,000 as exchange bonus apart from the value of the old scooter. This is part of the on-the-spot exchange offer.
And the icing on the cake would be the free access to fast charging points across the country for a whole one year.
Ather 450X Gen 3
Ather recently launched the 450X gen 3 scooter. It has a 6 kW motor and a 3.7 kWh battery pack. The 450X Gen 3 has a new Smart Eco Mode that allows riders to enjoy cruising in ‘Ride’ mode whilst offering the range of ‘Eco’ mode. The upgraded version will offer five ride modes – Warp, Sport, Ride, SmartEco, and Eco. The maximum power output in Warp mode is 6.2 kW.
Recently, Ather inaugurated its second manufacturing facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. The production capacity of the electric bike maker would increase to 4,20,000 units per year thanks to this plant.
