Skoda recently revealed that the brand will be introducing a new compact-SUV to the Indian market. The car will compete with the likes of the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue and Kia Sonet in the sub-4-metre space. Now the first spy shots of the Skoda Compact SUV have emerged which also give us a visual size comparison alongside its competitor.
The compact SUV will utilise the MQB-A0-IN platform which made its debut with the Skoda Kushaq SUV in 2021. However, the new compact SUV is likely to be smaller in size and in wheelbase compared to the Kushaq. The brand will also position the new SUV below the Kushaq in India.
Skoda Compact SUV – Size Comparison
Spyshots of the SUV now give us an idea how small or large the compact SUV is going to be. Obviously, the compact SUV will be a sub-4-metre car, but next to the old Tata Nexon, the Skoda Compact SUV looks almost as large. But, the Skoda compact SUV appears slightly wider. Next to the Tata Punch, the Skoda SUV appears to have a similar height but the width is likely to be more than the Punch. In addition to this, the old Hyundai Creta on its side appears similar but the compact SUV is likely to be smaller than the Creta.

On the rear, the Compact SUV appears to get stubby and squarish taillamps, similar in appearance to the VW Polo’s taillamps. Spyshots also reveal, roof rails, however, a shark fin antenna is missing.
